Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 2.5 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 onion, thinly chopped
  • 1 carrot, thinly chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 handful spinach, chopped
  • 1 handful basil leaves, chopped

Proteins

  • 8 oz lean ground beef

Sauces and Oils

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  • Add garlic, carrot, and cook for another few minutes.
  • Stir in ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Add cauliflower, tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, and red pepper. Stir well.
  • Simmer for 15 minutes until cauliflower is tender. Stir in chopped spinach and basil before serving.

Notes

Adjust the spiciness by varying the amount of crushed red pepper.
