Ingredients
  

  • 250 g round rice
  • 0.5 l coconut milk
  • 1 large ripe mango
  • 50 g brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the rice and place it in a saucepan. Add ½ liter of water and half of the coconut milk. Bring to a boil. Let it cook for 20 minutes, stirring often.
  • Peel the mango and slice it.
  • Boil the remaining coconut milk and mix in the sugar.
  • Pour the sweetened coconut milk into the rice, mix, and distribute once warm into bowls. Top with mango slices and serve warm.

Notes

Ideally, serve the sticky rice wrapped in a woven banana leaf basket, with fresh mango slices beside it.
