Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 or 3 pieces chicken breasts cut in half horizontally

Seasonings

  • 3 teaspoons paprika divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon optional
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes optional

Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley plus for garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF (200°C) and position a rack in the center.
  • Season chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, instant chicken bouillon (if using), and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Arrange in a baking dish.
  • Combine melted butter, olive oil, parmesan, pepper, minced garlic, 2 teaspoons of paprika, parsley, red chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Pour over chicken cutlets, reserving some for serving later if desired.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked to an internal temperature of 165˚F (75°C).
  • Serve immediately with a side of cauliflower rice or baked veggies and the remaining sauce for dipping.
