Ingredients
  

For Chicken Thighs

  • 5 pieces chicken thighs skinless & boneless, dried with paper towel
  • 1 teaspoon 21 Salute Seasoning or use any poultry seasoning of your choice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted

For Creamy Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese or prieve cheese, finely grated
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons dill finely chopped for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375F. Next, season chicken with seasoning, salt & pepper, on both sides.
  • Melt butter in oven-proof skillet over medium heat, add chicken thighs and sear for 2-3 minutes or until golden color on both sides. After, transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • To make the creamy chicken sauce, melt butter in the same skillet. Once it melts add garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring few times.
  • Add flour and stir continuously for 1 minute. Slowly pour in chicken broth and cook for 1 minute stirring continuously, or until sauce thickens. Pour in heavy whipping cream and give it a nice stir. Add cheese, stir and taste it, add more salt or pepper, if needed.
  • Add chicken thighs back into the skillet, coating each thigh in the creamy sauce. Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, uncovered or until chicken is cooked thru.
  • Garnish with dill and more cheese, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

It's important to pat the chicken dry before seasoning for better adherence and a nice sear. Butter adds flavor when sautéing garlic and browning chicken. Avoid overcrowding the skillet for even cooking.
