  • ½ cup milk preferably whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats

Preparation Steps

  • Before getting started, gather all ingredients and measure everything. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Combine the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder in a saucepan and heat over medium, stirring until melted. Bring to a boil for 60 seconds.
  • Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla until combined. Stir in oats until coated.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets and let cool for 20 to 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Cookies may be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For freezing, store in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
