Ingredients
  

Cold Cuts and Cheese

  • 4 ounces deli ham
  • 4 ounces salami
  • 4 ounces pepperoni
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese

Vegetables

  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce or 3 ounces leafy lettuce
  • 2 ounces medium red onion sliced intact rings (about 2 rings)
  • ¼ cup banana pepper rings
  • 1 large tomato sliced

Sub Rolls

  • 4 8-inch sub or hoagie rolls

Dressing

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing of choice
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place lettuce, ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, onion, banana peppers, and tomato on the cutting board and chop into small bite-size pieces.
  • Top with mayonnaise. Drizzle with red wine vinegar, Italian salad dressing, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
  • Divide into 4 equal portions.
  • Fill sub rolls.
  • Makes 4 sandwiches.

Notes

For the deli meat and provolone, use 6 regular-size slices of each if you're not measuring by ounces. Use 2 medium whole-leaf blades if using fresh lettuce head.
