Ingredients
  

Apples

  • 2 large Apple Use your favorite variety.
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1 cup Caramel Bits

Toppings (optional)

  • ½ cup Peanuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup Orange Sprinkles
  • ¼ cup Brown Sprinkles

Instructions

  • First, use a melon baller to scoop small balls out of an apple.
  • Then stick tall toothpicks into each apple ball.
  • Next, melt the chocolate according to the packaging instructions. Set to the side to cool slightly.
  • Using a clean, dry cloth, pat dry each apple ball.
  • Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Dip each apple ball in the dark chocolate and shake gently off the excess chocolate, set on the parchment paper, and let the chocolate harden.
  • Then, melt the caramel bits according to their packaging instructions, and let it cool slightly.
  • Drizzle the caramel on each of the chocolate apple balls and top with your favorite toppings, like chopped peanuts and sprinkles.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

I prefer to make and eat these on the same day, but you can place them in the fridge and eat them the next day.
